Getting Ready to

Lots of people are intimidated by the amount of work they think it will take to get their home ready to go on the market.  I can give you a free evaluation of your home and tell you which projects you should focus on to get the maximum return

Pricing your

Pricing your home might be the number one most important thing you can do to get your home sold for the most amount of money in the least amount of time. If you price it too high, it will sit on the market and get "stale".

If you price it too low, you may end up taking an offer below market value.

I bring years of experience and knowledge of what is happening in different areas of our local market and will make sure to price your home strategically.

One of the most exciting parts of this business for me is utilizing what I learned at Eller where I studied marketing.  Using what I learned there, I am able to give my sellers a strategic edge over the competition.  I pay close attention to trends in buyer psychology, where they are looking at homes, and what they are looking for.  With this knowledge I can position your house in front of the right buyers right after it comes on the market, and sometimes even before.

Whether you're currently renting or you own your own home, it's hard to know what the best move is for you: rent or buy?  I can help analyze your current living situation, budget, and income combined with my knowledge about what's going on in the market to help you make your decision.  I can help you figure out how much house you can afford if you want to keep your mortgage payment the same as (or less than!) your current rent.  I will go over all of the benefits of home ownership as well as give you a realistic idea of the responsibilities of homeownership.

What it

While your costs may vary depending on many different factors, my goal is to be up front with you about what to expect during your transaction.  While my fee as you buyer's agent is typically covered by the seller (woohoo!), there are some expenses to think about during the process.  Once I get a sense of what will work best for you, I can give you an accurate estimate for the cost of:

-Earnest Money

-Home Inspections

-Closing Costs

I don't want there to be any surprises!

Some people who call me for information about homes for sale tell me, "I'm just going to work directly with the listing agent so I can get a better deal".

I can appreciate wanting to cut out the middle man, go directly to the source, and save money too!  But unfortunately, what people are actually doing, is going directly to the agent who represents the seller, who is then earning twice the commission.

Having a dedicated buyer's agent (me!) working for you will not only save you time and headaches, it will actually save you money.   And hey, the more money you save on your house, the more money you have to spend on fancy lattes and avocado toast!  Win win!

I sincerely believe that investing in real estate is the best long term investment period.  There are a couple of billionaires who agree with me too!  But investing in a house or multifamily property can be intimidating!

I have experience with investing both first hand as well as with clients of mine who either flip homes or like to buy homes as rental properties.  I can take the scariness out of becoming a first time investor and I know exactly what kinds of properties will get you instant equity and provide a good rental return and put more money in your pocket.

From Out

Tucson's incredible weather and gorgeous resorts and communities make it a popular destination for people who want a slice of heaven away from home.  Lots of my clients come from out of town.  So whether you are looking for a break from the rainy Seattle weather or you are moving to Tulsa for a new job, I've got you covered.  With excellent communication and technology, I can take you through the whole process no matter where you are in the world.

There are literally thousands of licensed real estate agents in Tucson, and if you've been looking at homes online, lots of them have probably already contacted you to try to convince you to work with them.  My advice to you as a buyer or seller is take some time to meet with an agent before listing your house or going to look at property.  Find someone you like and trust and then make a decision.

I like to meet with sellers in their home or buyers at my office (or Starbucks, etc.) for a free consultation.  That's when we can mutually decide if working together will be a good fit.
