A Guide to New Years Resolutions

It's that time of the year again where you think to yourself, "omg it's that time of the year again??" And yes, while 2022 went by in a literal flash, I think we as a society have accomplished a lot during this past year! Taylor Swift released Midnights, Klondike told us that the Choco Taco might make a comeback, and we finally got to see season 2 of White Lotus. Personally, I do not want to lose the momentum of this incredible year, and I don't want you to either. Read on for your complete-ish guide to new years resolutions.

Many people like to set goals to get in shape, join a gym, eat better. I think these are great. Please let me know what the gym is like.

Others choose a resolution to slow down and spend more time with family and friends instead of spending more time on the computer and phone. Again, this is a really great resolution and something I will personally be really trying to be more intentional about! There's nothing good to look at on your phone anyway, (except browsing homes on my website, duh) and your family misses your face!

Drink more water. Ok, this one is sort of related to eating better and getting in shape, but I think it's something that some of us take for granted and forget to do! Drinking water has many health benefits including aiding in brain function, helping to lose weight, and even fighting headaches!

Save money. Ok, now we're talking. Saving money is a great goal! Try to set a mini goal each month for how much you want to put away. Better yet, set up automatic transfers to your savings account. A great motivator is to be saving up for something. Maybe you want to travel? Or maybe you want to buy your first home or an investment property! Call me if you're interested in making real estate part of your 2023 goals! And if not, send me a postcard from Paris!

Learn a new skill or hobby. I love this one! We're never too old to start something new! And weather you want to learn knitting just for fun, or you want to learn to code so you can start a new career, I say go for it!

Whatever your new years resolutions are, I wish you luck on completing your goals. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help!
